SUBDIVISION WORKS

Parkwater Estate Subdivision Development Stages 1 & 2

Project Overview

Parkwater Estate is located in the picturesque town of Cowaramup, Margaret River. Many of the subdivision lots overlook "bush forever land" managed by National Trust WA - making this a highly desirable location.

Leeuwin Civil carried out all civil works for Stages 1A and 1B, followed by 2A, 2B and 2C of the Parkwater Estate subdivision development. This included earthworks, underground infrastructure installations for stormwater drainage, services, and sewerage, in addition to road infrastructure including kerbing and footpaths.

Stages 1A and 1B were developed under a lump sum contract agreement. However, for the second stage Leeuwin Civil and the client opted for a profit share framework enabling a fastrack of Stage 2 to market. This agreement was made possible by the trust that had developed between Leeuwin Civil and the client as a result of Leeuwin Civil’s collaborative approach and past performance.

By partnering on this second stage, both parties shared risk as well as profit on what was ultimately a highly successful strategy, with all lots selling prior to the completion of the works.
